Meh, Nintendo didn’t announce any sort of cloud save or cloud backup feature for the Switch at their E3 presentation today. That’s the only damn thing holding the platform back in my opinion. I won’t even touch the Switch if there’s a risk all my data will be lost if the hardware dies.
That said, I must admit I’m excited for Metroid Prime 4. I loved the first three games and even though this was only a “hey, we’re workin’ on it” announcement, I’m already looking forward to it’s release. It obviously has no timeline yet but I’m really hoping Nintendo gets their shit together in the mean time. Metroid is a system seller for me.
